  • How does one cancel a mutual protection pact?

    Hello,

I am wondering just how one can cancel a mutual protection pact that has gone past it's twenty turns. There's no option to cancel it and I think I should be able to cancel these agreements as easily as the AI seems to.

    Thanks,

In C3C you can select preferences to force all deals to be renegotiated after 20 turns.

You can always go to the trade advisor and select the civ. Select the active deals (in blue on the bottom right iirc) and then change it.

D'oh! I didn't think of that. I was trying to change it from the diplo screen.

      Thanks,

The other method to do it would be multiple nuclear attacks on the other civ's soil. This SHOULD kill the mutual protection pact instantaneously. Less clicking than going into the diplomacy screen
