      Captialism?

          Yes comrade, it's an oxymoron!
New American UU: Al Gore-Eliminates pollution and you get "The Internet" great wonder instantly.

Perhaps but it does not have to be. Basic human decency and courtsey can be combined with captialism. For instance, instead of trying to rip off suckers as much as possible, they could be honest and market their products with disclaimers that you wouldn't need to buy that expansion since it's included with this expansion. Bad example anyway since it's all mentioned in fine print only if those suckers took time to read.

If people aren't trying their hardest for profit, it's not 'true' capitalism anymore. That's like asking for compassionate natural selection.

Exactly. That's how it should be - captailism tempered with compassion and honesty. Where I grew up that's a good business practice anyway.

I'm not saying that's not ideal (nor am I saying that it is), just that it isn't capitalism anymore.
