  • diplomacy in civ3

I seethe diplomacy screen and it only shows 8 people. With all the new civs available with the exp packs, i would like to have a game that includes more than 8. How does diplomacy work then??? If there some type of mod that will show the relations between civs that aren't in the illustrious 8?

    Thanks for the help!

No, it's cumbersome, sorry. Eight civs on the screen at once, You can switch between them by right-clicking on the while holding 'shift'. If you get C3C you can select from a menu in the top left corner.

so, i have civ3, I would need to upgrade to c3c (which is the conquests mod, i presume?) to get that feature? do i also need the play the world pack? if i need both would it be easier to get the Complete set?

      Thanks again for the help!!!

Yes, C3C adds a small menu that makes it easier to choose which civs are shown in the diplomacy screen. You don't need PTW for this. However, the screen is still limited to 8 civs and there's no changing that - it's hard-coded.
        Seriously. Kung freaking fu.

Thanks for the info!!! I appreciate it!

Maybe for Civ4 this will be changed sothat you can see the diplomacy among 3o civs. Not sure how, but.....

PTW comes with C3C anyway. The lack of a means to see all civs diplo status at once is a short coming.

Quick question... When I look at the C3C features, it doesn't the civs that are in PTW. Are they in there also?
                      Thanks

Yes, all the civs from PTW and their respective unique units are in Conquests too.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

No, they don't. It keeps selling more, if few people know they don't have to buy the first expansion, if they already have the second.

Yeah, especially when Amazon tries to sucker you with a 'great deal' when you buy PTW and C3C in a package .
