This is kind of a silly question, but can the map in the lower left corner be turned off? I think not knowign exactly WHERE you are in relatio nthe the north and south pole can add a little bit to the game. Sure, the terrain might give it awy a little bit, but I sitl think it woudl make the game more interesting. After all, the Mesopotamians didn't know where they were. (of course, they had no concept of the world as a globe either)

That's something that bothered me from the beginning, I wouldn't it appearing after half the world is discovered ( say with map making ) but to start out with it, feels like an exploit on the one hand and a spoiler on the other. Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus
