  • Activation code

Ok, I feel horrible for doing this. I own the game but my dog got a hold of the disc.. I can't install so I downloaded the game but I need an activation code and do not want to pay for the game again.

If anyone would be willing to help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

If this is an unacceptable (sp) topic, my apologies.

    Thanks
    Mort

Nice variant on the "dog ate my homework", do people still use that?

I do see this topic being closed.

There's an activation code btw? Can't remember that...

well, sorry for the inconveniance, sort of expected that. Shame that when it's for real no one believes.
and the activation code is for the downloadable game. Try and buy.

      Thanks anyways,

There is no code that I am aware of and I have installed many times. I have all the CD's and do not see a code anywhere.

You sure you are not looking at DiabloII LoD? I only mention that as I have that CD in my hands.

It's not the first I hear about this activation code, maybe it's part of a localised version? ( though him carrying the American flag would/should negate that fact. Well, I guess it could be possible )

          I didn't say that I don't believe you.

Ah yes they is/was a download version and it probably does require a code.

You should have mentioned that at the first and then, it would have made sense. If that site is gone now, you are probably hosed.
