C3C: Hotseat Battles

Hi,

In Hoseat (C3C), if the AI initiate combat with me (or other human player) it doesn't show. So suddenly after a turn I find enimies in my borders and some of my units are injured.

Is there no way of this to promt me when they do or at least show me?

This is a common complaint about hot seat and PBEM play. This has been requested in the Civ4 List (see forum). In PBEM games I play in, it's tough to recall what units were located where...especially when several days have passed since you've seen the game....and when you have multiple PBEM games going at once.

Bottom line, there is no solution. If a unit is killed, it's just your memory to rely on. It would be great to watch a miniscreen popup of all the previous turn battles for your viewing pleasure (or dispair!)

I most non-online MP games, I check the F4 screen first and foremost.
