How long does Anarchy take?

Well, in C3C the minimal Anarchy period is 2 turns, religious civ or not. So you still could experience the nearly-1-turn Anarchy. The difference is, there is no more ultra fast switching for religious civs in C3C.

Well, you still lose that turn's city shield production in all cities. (But not the gold or worker actions.)

So, it's more like 1/2 a turn saved than a full one.
