Playing After Game Ends

Just exactly how long can you play after the game ends? Do you eventually reach a certain date and weird things start happening or does the game just keep going and going and going...
Maybe people could post their longest trips into the future here. For me, if I remember I think it's around 2200 AD or so.

I definately remember experiencing crashes in vanilla civ3 playing past 2100ad but have never tried in C3C.

I have not tried it more than a turn or two.

I would be interested to find out if anyone has gone longer in Conquests
