Civ 3 Multiplayer-quick question

I want to play Civ 3 Conquests with my girlfriend, but she probably won't have very much fun unless we are on the same team. Do some of the conquests have options/expectations to be on the same team, like a WW2 one with England/USA?

Quick answer: Yes.

You use "locked alliances" to lock-in the allies for the entire game.
