    Say all I want to do is edit the starting arrays of the different civs without changing the game rules... how would I do that? What I'm trying to accomplish is to still allow the human player choose any civ they want, and play any world they want, but give the player (and the AI civs) a different set of starting units, based on what civ they choose. I know that I can eliminate the "extra starting units" the AI civs get based on the difficulty level, and I know that I can add to the units the human player gets, but I don't want to give the human the same units all the time. Is this only possible to accomplish by placing units and/or cities on the map to begin with? If so, how do I still allow the player to choose any civ they want, and how will that affect the AI civs? Thanks to anyone that can help!
