I just finished a game which I accidentally won by Space Race. I say "accidentally" because even though I finished building my spaceship I wanted to punish the Babylonians for continually ignoring my borders and crush them before ending the game. (I don't like the "keep playing" option after I've already won.) So I ended up reloading back to a point before the last SS part was built, switching to an ICBM, and proceeding to teach the rude Babylonians the meaning of "go away".
The problem arose because once the final SS part was built, the only option I seemed to have from the SS screen (which popped up automatically) was "Launch".
Did I miss something, some way to NOT launch a completed SS, but simply keep it in stand-by mode until I was ready to use it?
