Missing MP3 Information..I have the answers!!!

Alright, I have some facts about the missing MP3's from Civilization 3 Conquests.

A lot of people are missing some sound files..I was..until I re installed Civilization 3.

Now my 'Diplomusic' folder is full !

The Diplomusic folder itself includes the following:

DipAsEarlyPeace.mp3
DipAsEarlyWar.mp3
DipAsLatePeace-2.mp3
DipASLatewar.mp3
DipECEarlyPeace.mp3
DipECEarlyWar.mp3
DipEULatePeace.mp3
DipEULateWar.mp3
DipGREEarlyPeace.mp3
DipGREEarlyWar.mp3
DipMEEarlyPeace.mp3
DipMEEarlyWar.mp3 ( theres a pattern....lol )
DipMeLatePeace.mp3
DipMeLateWar.mp3
DipNAEarlyPeace.mp3
DipNAEarlyWar.mp3
NaLatePeace.mp3
NaLateWar.mp3

The total file size is 11.5 megabytes.

I um..managed to 'Winrar' them to 11.4 mb's......

Now..the TOTAL 'Sound' folder for Civilization 3 ( the original CD ) is 130 megabytes. Which includes the 'Diplomusic' and everything else you guys might be missing.

I'm going to be sharing the entire 'Sounds' folder on KazaaLite under the file name 'Civilization_3_Sounds'....I have dial up...so....it sucks..I know.

I only have a free Yahoo account...and they allow bigger file size E mails..but I'm not sure how big....

If anyone is willing to host the 'Diplomusic' folder which is 11.4 mb's 'winrar'ed...and 11.5 NOT...then let me know and I'll try and send it to them.

Again...I have DIAL UP....so...its painfully slow.

Or if anyone knows a program to compress a folder better ? Let me know.

Also, I know alot of people had problems with the 'Ancient' folder and the 'Full' mp3's....

There are 4

AncECFull.mp3 3.85 megabytes
AncGRFull.mp3 6.73 megabytes
AncMEFull.mp3 5.76 megabytes
AncORFull.mp3 6.08 megabytes


If someone wants to host those as well ? I'd have to send them individually....which would take FOREVER.....

But I feel bad for those who CANT play this game !!!!!

And I was FREAKING frustrated as heck last night when my sound thing was messing up too.

I got advice to re install the original Civ 3 cd...and thats all it took for me.

I was freaking out..I'm like...what the heck ?

But I'm all cool now...I'm not sure what the problem was ?

I can totally sympathize with everyone elses 'no sound' problem..so thats why I wanted to help as best I could.

This happens to legal bought cIIIv games?
Oh well, good you worked out a fix, but I wonder, wouldn't Firaxis have patched it already if it was a legal-game issue?
