  • Question about map size

    Hi there,

Is there any way I can get C3C to make the maps larger?

I mean, when I select huge map now, I still get a map which I find too small....
Is there a way in which I can get the random map making feature to make maps 300+x300+ ??

I remember in CTP2 you could set a variable somewhere which defined mapsizes? Something present in c3c ?

    greets~!

Open the editor, and generate a new map. You're allowed to set the size; max 363x363, IIRC. Save as a scen and play as normal.

Bear in mind that huge maps play very slowly, esp with plenty of civs, and that you'll run into the 512 cities limit if there's enough land around.
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

There is also a tab where you can set the number of tiles for each size map as well as the OCN and start distance from each Civ.
