  • Yo-yo wars fixed... nice

I may have missed the discussion, and can't pinpoint when it changed, but sometime between PTW and C3C 1.22, they fixed it so that if you and Civ A have an MPP and are both at war with Civ B, and you make peace with Civ B, the MPP is terminated, apparently with no attitude hit, thereby eliminating the yo-yo war (where you keep making peace and getting sucked back in next turn when Civ B attacks Civ A).

I don't know if it entails a rep hit or not, but knowing this peace may last is nice.

I noticed that sometime ago with Conquests. I believe you still get a rep hit for breaking the treaty intentionally, since you can't claim ignorance of an MPP.

It's entirely possible, though just making peace isn't a direct violation of the MPP, which is why I'm not sure it does (or should) entail a rep hit. Then again, I believe in the past declaring war again so soon provided the rep hit, so it could have just been moved forward.

I avoid MPPs like the plague, they just drag you into world wars.

I used to, but I've gotten to the point that I find them a useful tool to shape the geopolitics of the game to my vision. Plus, I've grown kind of fond of the world wars.

I'm still playing v1.20 and I just got sucked back into a war, so if there's a change it must be in 1.22, which I hope to get around to downloading this weekend.

            edit:
I just checked and it wasn't any MPP I had, so I'm all wrong about that. I really nned to sleep more and play less.

I really need to sleep more and play less.

That doesn't make sence! You need to play more and SLEEP less.
