When cities are large and units many, I seem to be experiencing certain "delay" problems with my units. When a unit has expended its movement points (mostly after having carried out an attack), the hotspot still lingers on it, as if it still could be moved. During this delay, I am able to peek inside my cites and give building orders, but I am not able to move any other units.
The delay lasts 5-20 seconds, but if I click on the minimap away from where the unit is, then it lasts just 2-3 seconds before the next unit is ready for orders. Unfortunately, this happens with most units when the game has grown large.
I did experience similar problems on the early versions of PTW, but by the last patch it was fixed. In Conquests, however, it seems to have returned.
I don't have a fast computer, just 64 Megs RAM and 350 Mhz processor, and this is probably part of the cause, but it doesn't really seem to be a "limitation" problem, rather a bug in the game.
Anyone else seen this?
