Text really screwed up in my install.

So I just went through my entire system, upgrading all my hardware, and getting the latest drivers, and suddenly, conquests has lots of wierd problems with the text. The game was fine for months, then suddenly, screwy.

I initially reinstalled Civ3 because the text had gotten funny (issues with the opening screen text reading Jan-Dec, instead of "Start new..." - "Quit.") I've tried uninstalling my drivers, but the text will not come back. Even knowing where everything is, I cannot figure out what went wrong.

Anyone familiar with this problem? Help. Please!

That's happened to me a couple of times. Uninstalling all of the patches and then the program, then reinstalling back again in the proper order has always fixed it for me though...
