    I was referring to the use fo the word "grandest" not denying that the Mongols win the kewpie doll for "largest".

      It was the charisma of Temujin that was able to unite them under a single "Mongolian" banner
      correct me if I'm wrong but didnt he capture all the other tribal leaders and boil them alive? charisma might be 100% adequate a word...

          Nope, it was a very tangled political situation. Temujin allied with some leaders, fought against others, allied with those who had fought against him and later fought against his allies. Eventually with some luck and his military brilliance he managed to defeat all of his rivals or force them to join him and became master of Mongolia. I don't recall ever hearing about any boiling oil.

            This tread was only intented to know what all of you thought about this peticular UU. I just tought that they didn't really respected history. If you take the german panzer UU for exemple, those are OK to my sense, even the roman UU are pretty much what I think about.
