  • How To Break Trade Embargos

Ok, how can a trade embargo be broken in Civ III v1.22?

Can't you change it after 20 turns (anymore)?
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

yes, but 20 turns is a long time in Civ

What about before the 20 turns?

Nope, you can't unless you break the treaty. IE go to war with them.

You don't really want to do that, your reputation will take a big hit with all the other civs, not just the one you have the deal with. You may find afterwards that noneone else will want to trade with you. Just wait for the 20 turns to end, and don't renew the trade at that point.
