  • The AI trades my techs during my turn

In my current game I discovered philosophy.
I was the first civ to discover it, since I got one free tech.

I traded it immediately to another civ.
But after I traded it to the first civ, all the other civs immediately got the tech as well.

Now I found out that this happens all the time. First the civs don't have the tech. Then I give it to one of them, and then they all have it.

    Is this on purpose?

This used to happen in vanilla Civ3 before they fixed it in a patch. I have not seen it since then. Could you post a save where it happens?

            Guess so
As soon as it occurs again, I'll post a save game.
I must say that I'm playing a scenario.

I'm not sure if that matters.... I think it doens't... well, it shouldn't.

I would think that ToeTruck and some of the other OCC plyers would have notice if the bug was back.

maybe it's a feature. To prevent humans from whoring out techs.

No it's not. It was a bug that was removed from the game a long time ago.

I think it was a feature, which was removed due to protests.

there should be an autosave at the begining of the turn around unless you've played more than five turns since then.

AI: I sure wish Jon would hurry up and complete his turn, he's been at it for over 1,200,000 milliseconds now.

Or if like me, you do not have autosave enabled.

I keep on playing. And to me it's not that important...
but next tech, I'll investigate the issue if it happens again.

This doesn't happen in 1.15 beta I am certain. Maybe there is a scenario specific bug? Also I don't have 1.22 installed yet.........it's not beyond the realm of possibility they reintroduced the bug/feature.

Also not to be rude but make sure it wasn't the AI's turn you traded on.
