How to edit Allow Scientific Leaders rule in editor?

  • How to edit Allow Scientific Leaders rule in editor?

    All old scenarios, with modified game rules got that flag automaticly.

    But, when I change game rules for new scenario, this flag is no active.

    And I can't get a way to activate it (it's not in list of game
    rules).

    Any help?

    Try scenerio properties.

      Already tried.

      It's not in the list of Game Rules in scenario properties page.

            Yes, this is definitely a bug.

            The only workaround I see is to keep an old version of the editor around.

              Anyone close to Firaxis to give them first hand report?
              (I doubt it will get fixed if it's just at the some long bug-list)

                  I think I've found a workaround, at least for the MP games : instead of modifying the game rules in the editor, I saved my mod without changes (default rules). Then, before loading the scenario, I checked all the desired rules I want have for my mod in the host screen, including the "allow scientific leaders" choice.

                  I hope it does work so....

                    Of course, if you want to force rules into the scenario it won't help.
