  • Conquests Manual Question

Hi, I'm considering buying a foreign version of the CIV3 Conquests expansion (at ebay); the CD is all in English, but the MANUAL is in a foreign language.

My question to you who have it is:
Does the manual carry any essential information or is it non important? Optionally is the manual available in English inside the CD as many games do nowadays, or would i be able to download it from the internet?

I don't think I ever read the Conquests manual. The information is probably out of date anyway.

You're better off asking here when you have a question.

It is not much and can be skipped with ease. I use to refer to the traits for some civs, but there is a chart on the board that has the data and I use it as well.

All the things mentioned in it can be gotten from the pedia.

If you're spanish (and then speak spanish) then you would like to enter in the spanish forum here on apolyton

It depends really...........the manual is useful for the basic game if you aren't familiar with it. Otherwise it's not that useful, and you can use the civilopaedia to check traits and such things.

Doc the manual for C3C is what he is talking about and it is nothing. I would agree you can get some value out of the CivIII manual if you have not played before and even the PTW has a bit of value.

I don't actually remember what's in the PTW or C3C manuals.......I can't find them to check!

Strangely my Civ3 manual is sitting in my drawer, unscathed.

There's gonna be pdfs of the manual in various languages on the CD in any case.
