  • Joke of a patch

What kind of testers worked on this bloody patch, most people could work out that it is bugged within 10 mins of playing the thing. The most annoying thing being on multiplayer when you try to reload you are presented with a black screen.

what a joke of a patch, the testers should be fired and made sure they cant work agian.

You registered to Apolyton specifically to post this gem? Lighten up and install 1.15 if you want to play MP.

Also, you're a bit late to the party. People have been ranting about this for days now. Surely we didn't need another thread.

Anyway, Firaxis admitted that they screwed up and a new patch will be out soon.

Here here, it is good to be perfect. The rest us have to struggle along making mistakes.

Of course anyone can make a mistake, but this patch goes beyond that. I don't blame a guy for opening a new thread about it. I've never been critical of Firaxis before now, but this latest incident is just too much.

Yup. That's it. I'll have to start looking around for a dragon avatar of my own for when I hit 300 posts.

IIRC you need 500 , or subscribe.

I subscribed. And it's well worth it.

Ah yes, I noticed you both have images larger than 80x80...But I'm not sure it would be entirely useful for me to subscribe, as I'm heading off to university this september and I'm not entirely certain how much time I'll actually have for civ3, let alone apolyton.

Yeah it is, I looked it up too, but I liked it better when I was reading it with my lexicdys lenses on.
