Crash to Desktop

I'm getting a crash to desktop whenever I am contacted by the Aztecs (or I contact them). This happened without a patch, with 1.12 and with 1.15

I did install the CivIII 1.27f (or whichever was the latest one) after installing Conquests, not sure if that has an effect.

Anyone else seen this, or have ideas how to stop it?

It seems that the file 'diplomacy.txt' in "Civilization III\Conquests\Text" folder is corrupted. Replace it with an uncorrupted version should work.

Edit: some other txt files are also possible.

It may have been installing a regular civ3 patch the did you in. It comes with 1.29f preinstalled. If you can't get it working, try simply uninstalling/reinstalling, then only installing the 1.15 patch...or just wait a week or two for the new, official patch.
