I agree. I wont repeat my thoughts, because I'm lazy. They are here:

It does not say anything about beta so it must be the offical one.
I see it was dated Jan 24.

I just started the middle ages scneario and note that the graphics are off there as well, arrows going in wrong directions, etc. does your fix cover all 3rd era tech trees (what I mean is, are they all in the same .pcx?)

You have to rename science_industrial.pcx to science_industrial_new.pcx in all scenarios for it to work properly.

I suspect we will see a new executable (1.21) rather soon!

well, I hope they can put out a fix soon....even if I can fix it, some won't want to muck around with it.

after closer examination, the arrows in the middle ages seem to be the same arrows as in the old epic game.

I'm not normally one to criticise Firaxis for the work they do and like others, I appreciate Jessie's continued loyalty to the fanbase by pushing out fixes and addons to Civ3 when the money is obviously in Civ4.

However, I must say that a bug so obvious as screwed-up tech tree graphics just.....leaves me flabbergasted! (Edit: I had something nastier there at first, but I really don't have it in me!)

I'm normally a pretty strong supporter as well....

                      .....
                      ....
I really don't know what to say. There are QA errors on a pretty fundamental level here. The MP community *cannot reload a saved game.*

                      Ever.

                      ::staggers and stares in disbelief::

                      .....wow.

I think there is a 'perception' problem here. Notice, if you feed the bugs, get a large can of paint and repaint them 'features', take your broom out and shuffle them across the room. Wahla, you have a feature rich program full of fun and favor.

I don't play MP, generally don't play scenarios or mods, and just finished a game so I don't have the need to reload saves from earlier versions.

What's the verdict from those who have installed 1.20 -- should I stick with 1.15b or install 1.20 now that I've downloaded the monster?

I was beginning to think at least the PBEM community had received gratification, but I just noticed this:

CIVILIZATION III: CONQUESTS V1.20 DOES NOT SUPPORT SAVE GAMES FROM PRE-V1.20 VERSIONS.
Back to the old dual install routine... :-(
Enjoy Slurm - it's highly addictive!
