  • C3C in May CGW (and C4?)

    Bruce vs. Tom.

They're playing Age of Discovery, Bruce as Spain and Tom as England. Bruce makes an early mis-step by thinking he can beat the Portugese easily. Tom cinches the game with naval blockades. (I guess they didn't know that navies suck in C3.)

Lloyd Case refers to C3C in his article on games you don't need to overclock your PC for. (He refers to it mistakenly as "Conquerors".)

Civilization 4 shows up in the Pipeline, slated for a 2005 release. That gives them 18 months (allowing for a month or so lead time between completion and release). Bets?

Now that looks good for C3C. But I do not understand the comparison. The genre of the games listed are very diferent.

They are not comparing the games to each other. It is just a comparison of how the different places rated a handful of recent games.

BTW only Magic had much of a disagreement. The rest were very close in all reviews.

Yeah, they trashed Magic. Normally the rankings are really close, with maybe one source throwing the curve off.

Every now and again, though, you get one that's all over the map.
