  • TERRAIN: Modified Snoopy's Floodplains to Add Escarpment

I thought that I would just build on Snoopy's floodplains (hope you don't mind Snoopy), adding Escarpment.

    Un-zip and rename 'floodplains'.

          Pounder, great work!

I have a request/question. Can a completely new terrain tile be added?

And if not, can the behavior of 'tundra' be adjusted so it does not modify surrounding terrain.

          Many, many thanks.

My desired use is for a having 'city can build here' only terrain without having to sacrifice any other terrain, excepting perhaps the 'tundra' terrain if it can be adjusted.

          Again thanks.

            This is from the editor.

You can set flags for the terrain type. Shut all flags off except allow cities.

You could also set the worker job to none and the terraform bonus's to zero.

            Done know if that helps.

Thankyou very for your kindly and timely answer, Pounder! What I note is that there is no 'add terrain', only change it's name. Can terrain features be somehow cloned and add that way? Maybe not. From the Editor choices it looks to be a deadend.

              Sincerely,
              Thanks again.

I would say that since the editor does not allow you to add new terrain types, then there would be no way.

That is our interface to the game, all you can do is modify what exists (sort of sounds like one of the laws of physics )
