Renaming Units....HELP!

Excuse me, but I have a question to ask and I was hoping someone might know the answer. My sister and I have been editing Civilization III. We have changed the conversation but we don't know how to rename the units! My sister has looked at the civilopedia but she doesn't understand their explanantion. Does anyone have any idea? I was also wondering if its possialbe to rename the leaders?

Have you patched it to 1.29? (assuming we are taliking about Civ3 vanilla here)
Otherwise there is button on the screen (bottom centre) that looks something like ' ABC '

I think they are talking about using the editor to change the names of leaders and unit types.

I believe there is a file with the leaders names that be replace or edited. I know a few posted list for great leaders and cities.

I'm talking about the original CivilizationIII here. I'm glad to know that you can rename leaders! Now all I need to know is how to get to the leader name files! Thanks for the help.

Can't you change the leader names trough the editor??

I'm fairly sure you can, as far as I know it's a textbox, scroll down and add a name.(or put them on top, I used to edit my cat names in )

The Leader names can be found on the Civilizations page of the editor. They're basically just text that you can overwrite.
