  • A quick question.

Does anyone know if chariots/horsemen upgrade to War Elephant? Gold per turn is available for those kind enough to provide a quick response.

I thought you couldn't upgrade to UUs anymore... or maybe that's upgrade from UUs....

You can upgrade UU's, well most. F-15's have no upgrade path.

War Elephants do upgrade to Cavalry in Beta 1.15 but in the brave new world of resource scarcity I haven't had a chance to build horsemen yet to verify that they upgrade in 1.15. Alexman is usually right though so I'm going to give it a shot when I get the chance. Even without horse based pre-builds the War Elephant is a pretty attractive UU these days. A five HP knight with no required resources can really help pull you out of a tight spot in those crucial middle age land wars.

"Lord of the Rings" comes to mind.
