  • Question regarding Maps/Starting Locations/Civilizations

I recently got a new computer and installed all three Civ games on it. I wanted to play a game tonight on a world map with certain civilizations, so I brought up Marla's map in the editor to place all the starting locations where I wanted them...but for some reason, it won't allow me to place starting locations for any civs except the ones in the original version (not even PTW civs)

I never experienced this problem before (when playing on my other computer).

    Any thoughts?

hmmmm, ok, figured out how to get the PTW civs on there...but what about the Conquets civs? Is that possible?

I don;t think Marla's map will work for the C3C editor, but check the creation forum.
If nothing else you will find some Conquest maps to use.

After opening Marla's map, go into the scenario menu and make sure the only option of the three bottom ones checked is 'custom map'. I think Marla did some custom rules, so they wouldn't be updated to C3C. If you turn off custom rules, it will use the default rule set which includes all 31 civs.
