  • Conquests Scenario Editor Bug?

Has anyone used the scenario editor in Conquests?

There seems to be a conquered cities bug in scenarios
I've created using the editor whereby a conquered city
will allow me to build roads to my "new" city, but rail
lines loop back upon themselves. I thought it was a
graphics thing, but single moving a unit through a
nearby square to the city and out is costing MPs.

I can abandon the city and build on the same site,
even using the previous inhabitants, and that will fix
the problem, but settlers isn't what I should be building
on the front lines, if you know what I mean.

Yes this is know behavior. It clears and goes back to normal, but I forget the trigger. I think it is culture expansion, but I am not sure.

Hmm, I've seen it too in one my custom scenario.

Don't know the way how to fix it.

Have you tested playing the other side to see whether the rail lines are ever there at all? I recall something about scenario loading not automatically placing roads & rails underneath cities.

In the scenario file, if you go into the tile options for the city square, do you have both road and railroad options checked? I'm not sure if that's the problem, but I figure $0.02 is better than nothing.
