I have updated the most recent patch and still have this problem.
When playing a hot seat game, (in this case the two players take up player 1 and player 2 spot) any activity that happens to player 1 not during his turn (i.e. troop movement within borders, being attacked, etc.) doesn't show up at all. Player 2 sees everything that happens to him but player 1 is completely ignored. This has led to me (being Player 1) to having cities captured without ever knowing it until turns later (I was wondering what the heck was taking the city so long to build it's temple).
Is there a setting you need to adjust for this or is it an inherent bug in the game?
