Multiplay by email

Can someone give me a overview of how multiplay by email works

Briefly:
* You create the PBEM game in Civ3PTW or C3C using the 'Multiplayer' button, then under game type select 'Play by Email', select your other options including the Player names for the people involved, then Launch the game.
* When prompted, enter the useless Administrator password.
* The game will then start. You play as Player#1 and complete your turn.
* When you're done, you press ENTER or SPACEBAR, which takes you to the options of 'Save & Exit' or 'Continue'. You Save the game.
* Then from your email program you email your Save file to whomever is playing Player#2.
* Player#2 receives the file in your email, fires up Civ, and does a Load Game using the file. They complete their turn, Save it, email it to the next person, etc.
* Repeat until the game is over or you can't stand PBEM any longer.
