"Component transfer error" when installing!

When I tried to install C3C for the first time today, I got an error with the header "component transfer error"... I tried to install several times, but each time I get to C:\...\DirectX\dsetup32.dll, I get this error message:

Compoent: DirectX Installer
File group: DirectX Installer
File: F:\DirectX\dsetup32.dll
Error:[have to translate from Norwegian here] Data error (sirculating control of superfluity, CRC)

What can be wrong? BTW, I got a message that I didn't need to install DirectX, since I have it already. Why is the installer trying to install it then?

Great servicee! I called the shop I bought the game in, and they replaced the CD ASAP! So now the game is properly installed!
