Conquest bug?

hi

I just installed conquests over civ 3 gold..regular game seems ok but on the introductory 1..conquests scenerio i can send my settlers and such to the left of the screeen till they are out of site but i can't scroll left..far enough to see all of the city i build

what's then deal?
