I had some games played with C3C and every game I have facist countries I notice that facism is a too strong gov, too many pos than cons. Each time the facist country is a super power in my cirrent game china waged wars and instead to go communist it turned facist now it's the richest country and it's science is always 100% and it still gains money. That is disturbing, in the game before france was the facist superpower :S strangley enough

I wonder if they are superpowers because they are fascist or if they are fascist because they are superpowers.
Either way, it's nice to see the AI pulling the human trick of Researching 100% - maybe even at a loss? - and then reaping huge rewards in trading the tech to further finance fast research.
Seriously, though, maybe they are already really strong and decide it's time to conquer some land or take some luxuries and switch to a wartime government or something. The AI needs all the help it can get.
Have you tried switching to fascism yourself to see if it makes the game too easy at your normal difficulty level?"Just once, do me a favor, don't play Gray, don't even play Dark... I want to see Center-of-a-Black-Hole Side!!! " - Theseus nee rpodos

I'm with ducki here: you might just be confusing cause and effect.
In the Strategy forum, there's a thread about fascism and people think it's actually too weak. It seems to me that Republic and Monarchy are the "general-purpose" governments and the others are for specific situations (the range broadens a bit if you're a Religious civ since you can switch more easily), so I think all of the governments, including fascism, have their place in the game, it's just not all that often they're actually needed. (I also suspect sometimes when they'd help us, we don't actually notice...)

Hmm good point but I noticed that the AI turns to facist when it gets envovled in continuis wars. And the human trick they are constantly at 100% or atleast for the past 20 turns in which in some of them i go waste my money to see what's happening and it is at 100% and the guys are hugely rich. I don't know I play on emperor and it might have an effect too. In the last game where i had france well it was facist and it remained facist until it won by cutural victory which will be case now pretty soon with china.
good point though i never swtiched to facism I stick democary even in war time since I don't go in extremelong wars, beside i can't afford the 7 turns of anarchy

I have a sneaking suspicion that Fascism was purposefully introduced for the AI civs, and not so much for the human player...The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

I switched to Fascism in my first game on Conquests, and I found that, even with science at 100%, I had trouble keeping up, becuase my cities experienced very severe corruption. I had a large empire, which could explain much of this, but it did seem that corruption was much worse in Fascism than in other governments (except for Despotism and Anarchy).Pi = 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375 10582097494459230781640628620899862803482534211706 79821480865132823066470938446095505822317253594081 2848111...

I thought fascists could pop-rush.Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...
