Enabling Maintenance Flag for Feudalism

I noticed there's a switch in the editor for Maintenance for the various governments.

Anyone tried it yet? (For Conquests obviously.)

It's not just Conquests, that button has always been there. It just determines whether or not you have to pay gold for all your city improvements.

Well, has anyone tried it? I heard that the free maintenance was a problem for the AI concerning Feudalism in Conquests, and that is why it was removed from the current release.

Why not just go ahead and experiment yourself, instead of waiting around for an answer?

It might be fun to try experimenting.
