  • Patch question.

I've downloaded the patch and installed it.

It says i have version 1.12 down in the left corner on the menu screen.

I loaded my game, and soon built the forbidden palace. (I was holding off building it until i got the patch)

THe problem is, there is still corruption in the city where i build the forbidden palace, and it's neighoring cities. Stupid me didn't check what the corruption was like before i built the thing, but i thought the Forbidden Palace was like a second palace, so shouldn't that mean that there should be NO corruption in that city? And less corruption in the closer cities?

Or isn't the patch in effect yet as i have not started a fresh game since in installed the patch?

There is some corruption even in your capital city. It's just very small.

i have the same thing going on, and its not just that minimal corruption, I'm talking about 9 out of 10 wasted shields.

I loaded a saved game though, and that might be what's causing it.

I'm not sure if anyone else has confirmed yet on a new beta patch game that the FP reduces the corruption? I'm pretty sure it will though, I doubt firaxis would of put it out otherwise

See discussion on civfan. Bottom line, this is a bug to the patch. That's why it's called BETA.

You can now download the C3C beta patch through this link. Edit: Now you can also download it from CivFanatics. (14.7 MB) Enjoy! :santa:

Interesting change on the FP, I like it.
Having said that, perhaps there should be two availlable for each civ.

I meant in other gouverment too. ( From what I gathered in the CFC thread, FP no longer works as a second palace, but more like a courthouse on steroids )

So is there a patch out for C3C yet? Or is it just the beta? I remember reading last week on here that there would be a patch out next week. So, new patch?

Don't worry found some info. I'm currently making a mental note to read all threads before just asking questions.
