Thank you A BETA patch is welcomed wholeheartedly. We recognize that this patch might not address all the issues on your radar screen, but offering a patch to fix some of the larger game balance issues is a fantastic approach!

Thanks again and special thanks to you and all who have been working hard through a long holiday season to deliver this patch at this time!

                Thanks guys!

Although it seems my worry about being able to continue pre-patch games was warranted. Damn.

OK first of all THANKS FIRAXIS, BREAKAWAY AND ATARI!

Second I have some specific questions:

                  1. In MP games WITHOUT random Civs. Games that were started prepatch. Can you patch and still play those games?

                  2. In MP games WITH Random Civs. Games that were started prepatch. Can you patch and still play those games.

                  Thanks!

the first SP random-map game. When chosen, the
player is taken to the world chooser with the

selected. Again, the player can make any changes

changed, player starting locations MAY change
(depending on the number of seafaring civs,
                        actually).
does changing the barb level change the map?

why is everyone thanking them? The game should've been released without the need for a patch.

Name me any game that has ever come out without needing a patch. It's a part of the PC world.

Beta is far better than waiting.
