i can't use "set rally point"

in every of my game i collect all my soldier in one square to fight them all together.But to collect them in one square every turn when a soldier was produced, is very boring,complex and hard. i think when i right click on any city"set rally point" will collect (which soldier was produced by a city) automatically in one square which has chosen by me. But i can't solve how to use it and this doesn't work.how i can use it help me...???

I recently tried using a continental rally point for the first time. What I found was that , once you designate a rally point, it only affects units being built, not any unit in the city just completed.

Right click on the city, select "set rally point" and left click on the tile you want to designate. Future units produced in that city should move to that tile until you cancel the rally point.
