  • preserve random seed in conquests?

Is it me, or is the preserve random seed not on in the conquests?

    and why is this?

and why can't I select it to be on in the setup screen.

    a bit annoying.

    I thought I saw it.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Its set to off, IMO so you don't get the same rnd results if you replay the same Tribe with the same builds/moves.

Otherwise, you could 'know' that sending your Daimyo directly to goody hut A would give tech B etc.

I'd have preferred they implemented a 'Randomize Initial Seed' option myself.

Pardon me, I should have been more clear.

I was referring to THE conquests, not the epic game.

On initial install it is set to on. If you load any games from here or some place that had it turned off, that is how it stays. I got burnt by that a few times. I loaded a save from here and later start a new game with autosave on and rng off.

Anyway on means reloading to fight the battle or pop the hut will get the same results, if you do it in the same order as the first time.

I have absolutely no idea what you're on about here, which leads me too believe you have no idea what I was on about, or you quoted the wrong person.

I noticed that too, though I won't ever admit to reloading

I still don't know what all the random seed does, but oh well. I know it affects combat results, that's all I know.

It is simple, I had no idea you were talking about a "conquest" scenario, instead of an epic game. It was discernable, if I had noticed the mention of the special unit. Even easier if you had just mentioned that point.

so could someone explain to me the logic in not having preserve seed on in the conquests?
