I have recently reinstalled Civ3 onto my XP machine. After the nightmare which is completely uninstalling the programme was solved I managed to install it onto my machine. I ran it first before adding the latest patch (129f) as I had read a bug had been found regarding this problem. When I started the programme it only used half of my screen and you couldn't see anything clearly. I rebooted my machine and installed the patch. Now it uses half the screen apart from half way through the intro when the infogames and movie appear and it uses 3/4 of the scrren but goes back to half screen when the game menu comes up. But you can see it all clearly now. My settings are screen area 1024 x 768 pixels.

I don't know what video card I am using and I don't know how to find out using XP either.
