They look good to me. I can't really say with certainty anymore which "exact" colors they would have been, though.

How did you add Austria without removing one of the other civs? I was under the impression that this was impossible, due to the fact that the game is hard-coded to only allow 31 civs and the barbarians...

I removed all the civs except the ones added in Conquests. So in this mod there are only 8 civs to choose from.

It's true if you want 31 civs including Austria you will need to remove 1. It is not too difficult to remove a civ. It is far more difficult to add Austria. Use this mod as a template if you want to add Austria and have 31 civs.

I find it easier to put Austria in the game by renaming one of the existing civs and modify it accordingly.

Thank you for the biqs, SirOsis and player1.

                How do you do it?

Can somebody give me a step-by-step guidance on how to remove a civ and add the Austrians? I haven't worked with the Editor yet.

                Any help appreciated.

(I assume that way I could also add the Minoans -or whatever they were called- from an old Game of the Month at CivFanatics)

I don't think I could give you good step, by step description.

I think that the best way to start would be to "remove a civ" by replacing its stats with new one you like (changing traits and all that matter).

At the end you need to add UU and King units (no need to remove old ones for replaced civ).

I opened 2 editors and copied and pasted Austria in while looking at the Napoleon scenario. City names, leaders etc.

In my game, I'm planning to rename the Zulu and start from there. I already have the superficial stuff done- city names, color- the stuff you do in the editor- I just didn't know how to edit the Pediaicons file or link to the leaderhead.

                        Tip:
In zip I posted there is already finished pediaicons file.
Just donwload it and no problems.

How would one go about setting the leaderhead for Austria right, in deleting another civ and inserting Austria, I mean?

Edit the PediaIcons file with the additions I mention above.
