City improvements and civ's technologies in C3C editor - please help me!

How can I set city improvements into cities with the C3C editor?

I see the list of city improvements, but how can I activate some of them without activating one between two others (space bar doesn't work)?

The same with the civ's technologies.

Please help me!

Simply hold down the "Ctrl" key while you select what you want, individually, with the usual mouse-click.
