Thank god my wife doesn’t play. There is only one computer in the house. My set up is pretty good though, I play, she sits in the office with me and reads.

No complaining about me playing too long, just the occasional “that battle is awfully loud don’t you think?”

Just a bad stroke of luck, I would think. Before I upgraded them all to LB, I think I got a slave out all but 4 fights. They are too expensive for any rushes.

Oh, I know. It's supposed to be a 1/3 chance, so a more average result for 10-15 battles would be 2-5 slaves, instead of the 1 I got.

I only built 1. He's elite, and did start my GA (going down to redline before winning the battle), so he was useful.

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

I'm assuming it's the same code used for enslave with Privateers, and I'm experiencing a pretty good 1:3 ratio with enslaving with them.

oh yes. I was playing as the Mayans last night.

            I likey, likey.

I didn't need to have any of my own workers. I had an army of enslaved workers

But you only get that if you wage a decent amount of warfare early. And then you are hit with an early golden age. So it all evens out I think.

in my first mayan game i actually farmed two barb camps, ended up with like 30 barb slaves.
didn't realize you could do them to barbs. I was playing sedentary barbs.

They should take the barb option off. But other than that I don't think it's too powerful. Because it does force you into an early golden age.
