minimum requirements??????

Before i bought yhis game i saw the minimum requirements
win 95
4xcd-rom
32mb ram
hard disk space 500mb
pentium2 300
compatible direct x8 video card

well i got this:
win98
48x drive plus dvd
128mb ram-pc100
hard disk space available 15gb
pentium 2 400
16mb riva tnt 2 with latest drivers from nvidea

I bought fist the spanish version, after that i tryed the english version(latest patches everyting)...

...Here's the problem:
I install the game, it seem's to be working fine but after i configure the scenario to start, it starts to download and when it get's to 100% it appears an error messege "this program has performed illegal operation,error in the pile,Kernell32"...and i've got straight back to windows!!!!!

What's wrong??????

I've played galactic civilizaions wich requires a P3 at 600Mhz and it runs nicely on my old P2 400!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and all the requirements are higher, i just don't understand!!!!???

Could sameone give me a hint??

That doesn't really sound like a problem that would be related to any of the requirements you listed. For any errors realted to Windows (which I am almost positive yours is) you would be best off contacting civ3 tech support. Also try running a search at the Civ Fanatics Help Forum as well.
