Beside scenarios present,will it be possible to play a civ from 4000 to infinite like civ3 ?

I know that scenarios goes from a certain date to another one,but SID doesn't want their customers to play Arkanoid,therefore I strongly hope that a flat game is possible,from 4000 to INFINITE.

If yes how many new units will be involved in " non-scenario " enviroment ? All the scenarios ones or only the default ones?

I hope they have thought wisely.

You can already do that in Classic Civ III without PTW by editing the rules.

You can certinately mod any existing unit, structure, or tech however you like.

I haven't tried to add any units, strucutres, or techs though.

Epic Game and Conquests

Hi Gunter,

Saw your question, just thought I'd chime in here...

Besides the 9 Conquest scenarios featured in Civ Conquests, there are plenty of changes to the Epic Game (i.e., your standard, random map, 4000 BC-until-everything-on-the-map-is-your-color games).

Most all of the new additions are introduced in the Conquests themselves, though some of the changes are brand new to the Epic Game, like the Scientific Great Leaders, the new City Specialists (Civil engineers and policemen), and a few tweaks to the tech tree.

Thank Jeff,if the so called " Epic game " will be present also in Conquests I would be glad to play the sequel of one of the best game ever seen into pc games since 1980
