Ok...before 1.27f I have never had a problem hosting a game. Now I cant host anymore. I always disable my firewall before I play, and I disable XP firewall. Whenever I host I launch and I get to the multiplayer setup but no one comes in. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I know what is causing it.
I have XP as well and never had a problem hosting, until I installed DX9. Using directX 8.1 I have no problem hosting. But the minuite I upgrade to 9 hosting goes bye bye.
I've tested this and used a remover to uninstall DX9 and put 8.1 back in. Once 8.1 was back on I could host again. I am positive we are not the only one's with this issue.
A few months ago not running DX9 was no problem but now I have a game that will not run on 8.1 so I had no choice to upgrade to 9 and payed the price by loosing my hosting ability in Civ3. This has been an issue since before the 1.21 patch so I really dont understand why there isnt any fix that has been released yet.
