After re-installing Civ3 and Civ3PTW I cannot open my old saved files. All I get is an error message saying:
DataIO operation System Error: LEAD
What am I doing wrong?

Have you patched up to 1.21 yet?
(maybe you are using different savegame versions (allthough that shouldn't make any difference AFAIK)Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

Yes, I have patched to 1.21 and tried to open the sav-files before and after installing the patch. Same results.Comment
