I had to reinstall the program to a new hard drive after a crash of my old one. I'm rebuilding all my programs now. I have some data on my old drive I can recover. Is there a file in CIV3 that stores the Hall of Fame? I'd like to keep that if I can figure out how to do it. Any ideas?

I know it's possible, just not sure how.
Anyway I took a look at the game folder and there is a file called 'highscores'
See if that works (copy-paste into new folder)
If not, I'm sure someone else will tell you how

The file is called HighScores.cv3. It is located in the Civilization III folder.
If you have installed PTW, there is an additional file, same name, in the Civ3PTW folder, that supercedes the other.
You may copy your old one (from the Civilization III folder) to the Civ3PTW folder if you want. There's no change in format.
Open the file with a text editor like WordPad.Comment
