Civ3 seems stuck on a 1024x768 resolution. I have a 17" monitor and I want a screen res. of 1024x768. Since my desktop is 1280x1024 I tried adding "KeepRes=1" to the .ini file, but that gave the better picture, but with a screen size of 1024x768 (so there was a big blakc border". I also tried "KeepRes=1" and "VideoMode=1280" but that was the same as just "KeepRes=1" on it's own.

'keepres=1' works fine on my screens (both at 1280x1024 and 1600x1400), and i don't even have the VideoMode set.
however, the title screen still stays smaller (at 1024x768). have you tried loading a game? then everything is fine here...- Artificial Intelligence usually beats real stupidity
